Dump.  Simmer.  Blend.  Done.

  • 2 cups roasted tomato OR 1 15 oz can diced tomato
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup water
  • kosher salt and black pepper
  1. Put everything in a small sauce pan.  Bring to a boil, lower to simmer and let it cook down for about 15 minutes.
  2. Use an immersion or regular blender to puree to your liking.  Check the seasoning and enjoy!
